Republican National Committee co-Chair Lara Trump revealed that her father-in-law's reelection brought in $1.5 million on the first day of the hush money criminal trial proceedings.

Donald Trump appeared in Manhattan criminal court on Monday for poon the start of jury selection in the case alleging he falsified business records related to payments to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their affair.

'The people of America spoke up yesterday in support of Donald Trump to the tune of a million and a half dollars raised for his campaign,' Lara told Fox & Friends on Tuesday morning.

Lara Trump said Tuesday morning that her father-in-law's reelection campaign raised $1.5 million on the first day of the criminal trial against former President Donald Trump on Monday

She added: 'The average donation was $28, so even here, in the abysmal Biden economy, people are coming out and they are financially supporting this president.'

Trump arrived for a second day of trial on Tuesday at the courthouse in downtown Manhattan.

Just before the former president left Trump Tower for the first day of the trial on Monday, his campaign sent out an email seeking to fundraise off of the criminal prosecutions.

'THE BIDEN TRIALS ARE UNDERWAY!' the email reads. 'I'm heading to court THIS MORNING for my RIGGED TRIAL, and only YOUR SUPPORT will get me through this dark time.'

Trump's message to his supporters continued: 'BECAUSE OF YOU, I WILL NEVER SURRENDER!'

The email takes supporters to a survey page, which then prompts MAGA fanatics to donate $20.24, $47 or another amount to the former president's 2024 campaign.

It seems the prompt worked considering the massive fundraising haul, according to Lara Trump.

During a March RNC meeting in Houston, Texas, Eric Trump's wife Lara was elected the new co-chair of the GOP with a leadership overhaul that solidified Donald Trump's hold on the Party ahead of November.

Trump arrived to court on both Monday and Tuesday to protesters in support of the former president and others opposing him and lauding the criminal cases against him.
