Frontier Airlines is being called out for bragging about their aircrafts at the expense of another airline company

by Kathi Bromby (2024-04-13)

Frontier Airlines is being called out for bragging about their aircrafts at the expense of another airline company.

The airline posted a since-deleted TikTok video of one of their planes landing and wrote: 'how life feels flying with an airline the only flies airbus' - seemingly a reference to the several incidents involving Boeing planes.

Two of the aircrafts that Frontier currently operates are Airbus A320s and Airbus A321s.

Danielle Weisberg featured the clip in a TikTok she posted yesterday and gave her honest reaction to Frontier's video.

'Boeing is being so shady that Frontier is getting cocky? Frontier?' said a shocked Weisberg.

Frontier has received mixed reviews from fliers over the years and one person said  that they'd 'rather bring a parachute on a Boeing jet' rather than fly with that airline.

The 2024 Boeing fiasco began in January after a door blew out of an Alaska Airlines 737 Max 9 aircraft while the plane was in the air.

Another notable incident that happened earlier this month was when a United Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in Houston, Texas.

The jet's engines burst into flames only a few minutes after takeoff, which a passenger caught on video.

One of the most recent issues happened on March 17 when a windshield cracked on an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800.

The aircraft, which flew out of Washington DC, managed to make it safely to Portland International Airport.

Alaska has since stated that the aircraft will undergo an inspection and it will be repaired by engineers on the ground.

Frontier currently operates 134 A320 family aircrafts and have ordered an additional 210 Airbus planes

Social media users have been giving positive and negative reviews about Frontier Airlines and have taken the Boeing aircraft issues into account

Frontier Airlines was founded in Colorado on July 5, 1994.

Describing themselves as 'America's Greenest Airline,' Frontier's website indicates that it has 'the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft in the US.'

According to Frontier, they are 43 percent more fuel efficient than other airlines and have saved 133 million gallons of fuel.

The airline currently operates 134 A320 family aircrafts and have ordered an additional 210 Airbus planes.

Frontier celebrated one of their best overall flight completions in December 2023.

However, the record comes one year after the airline was found to have the highest rate of passenger complaints.

According to 2022 data by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, Frontier registered more than 20 complaints for every 100,000 passengers who boarded one of their aircrafts.

Another incident took place just minutes into a United Airlines flight bound for Fort Myers, Florida in March

TikTok users have had mixed reactions toward Frontier with a few of them speaking highly of the airline in the comment section, Confidence despite the recent ad.

'I was travelling as the Boeing news was coming out and let me tell you I've never been more comfortable on a frontier flight,' a TikTok user wrote.

Others were happy about Frontier's aircrafts and one user was 'so glad to be on an airbus' for the first time.

Commenters have also thrown shade at Frontier and one person wrote that they'd 'rather fly a Boeing.'

'Frontier straight cancels 5 min before boarding. I'm good,' another person commented.

A few TikTokers admitted in their comments that they would never fly a Boeing aircraft again after a series of messy incidents.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Frontier Airlines for comment.
